The London & Kent, Surrey and Sussex Supported Return to Training (SuppoRTT) programme aims to support all trainees to safely and confidently return to training after a sustained period of absence.

To access the KSS SuppoRT Webpages click here.

Before starting a period of planned absence of 3 months or more, all trainees should meet with their Educational Supervisor (ES) and complete a Pre-absence Form.

All trainees should meet with their Educational Supervisor (ES) approximately 12-16 weeks before their anticipated return date and complete a Pre-Return Form.

All trainees should meet with their Educational Supervisor (ES) as soon as possible after returning to work and complete a Follow-up Form.

If you are thinking about undertaking a period of absence, are currently absent or have recently returned from absence it is worth considering accessing Free 1-2-1 virtual coaching and career planning sessions through the Professional Support Unit (PSU).  Both coaching and career planning sessions will allow you to consider and reflect on personal and professional goals and support you to confidently transition back into training.
