We recognise that during the COVID-19 outbreak many of you will be working in unusually challenging circumstances and experiencing new difficulties in your personal or professional lives.The current Covid19 pandemic can heighten emotions by worries over uncertainty and the unknown. These feelings are perfectly normal and a healthy reaction to a very abnormal situation.

On these pages we have gathered information and resources together to help you and signpost you to routes for support. Please remember the most important rules:

**URGENT or IMMEDIATE psychological support in a crisis during the COVID-19 pandemic** 

You can access confidential, free & immediate/24 hr support for urgent psychological or mental health difficulties/distress via:

  • NHS Bereavement & Loss Helpline for NHS staff: Call 0300 303 4434 (between 7am-11pm)

We offer a number of free Virtual group support spaces faciliated by a member of the PSU team. Each virutal support 'space' is a confidential, impartial, informal and safe area for you to connect with other trainees, share your experiences and access support from peers.
